After many solitary, wonderful hours in my "playroom" making quilts, friends convinced me to join our local quilters' guild. A year later I took along some of my quilts for show and tell, and was totally unprepared for the response. After initially making a commercial appliqué quilt I struggled to find patterns I liked that challenged me: so I set about designing my own.
It was the response
to those quilts that led to this web site.
